Join our dynamic team as a Network Technician and become a vital contributor to our cutting-edge IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal security across our organization. Your expertise will help us deliver reliable network services, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational excellence. Install, configure, and support network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points such as Meraki and Cisco ASA appliances. Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk to proactively identify and resolve issues related toLAN, WAN, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
routing protocols, and network security threats. Manage network security protocols including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), SSO (Single Sign-On), SSL encryption, and cloud security measures on platforms like AWS and Azure. Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform regular system audits to ensure the integrity of IT infrastructure against emerging threats. Support data center operations by managing SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), VMware vSphere environments, high availability configurations, and virtualization technologies such as Citrix and Hyper-V. Implement network installation projects involving TCP/IP configuration, DHCP/DNS management, openSUSE/Linux/Ubuntu/BSD/Unix operating systems support, and scripting with Bash or PowerShell for automation. Assist in developing network architecture designs aligned with ITIL best practices while supporting remote access software solutions like SSH, SFTP, VPNs (IPsec), and remote management tools. Proven experience with computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), TCP/IP stack management, VLANs, load balancing solutions, and network protocols. Hands-on expertise with Cisco devices such as routers, switches; Juniper or other enterprise-grade hardware experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of network security tools including IDS/IPS systems, firewalls (Cisco ASA), Cisco ISE for authentication management, VPN setup (IPsec), encryption standards, and vulnerability assessment techniques. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for cloud security implementations; experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or vSphere is preferred. Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Shell Scripting to automate tasks; experience with Ansible or similar automation tools is advantageous. Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions like Debian or CentOS; system administration skills are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently while maintaining high availability standards. Relevant certifications such asCCNA/CCNP
(Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional), CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
