SBS - Provider Relations Representative

Santa Barbara Select is an Independent Physician Association (IPA) that functions under Desert Physicians Management (DPM). DPM is a physician-owned managed care network with 200+ physicians and multiple urgent care facilities.

Some administrative responsibilities include:

• Managed care operations
• Claims adjudication
• Utilization management
• Provider network administration Responsibilities
• Communicate daily with IPAs, Hospitals, Network Providers
• Facilitate and manage interdepartmental communication to stay up to date on current organizational policy and procedures, as well as change in compliance regulations
• Apply knowledge of Managed Care/HMO Operations to help build strong relationships and implement effective conflict resolution
• Work with providers on policies, claim issues, operation workflows, and any other issues or concerns that may arise
• Travel to provider offices, as needed Skills
• Four (4) years or more of provider relations or managed care experience that includes experience working with IPA's, Hospitals, and Network Providers

Pay:

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
