Start Date:
ASAP Our client is looking for a talented and collaborative Full Stack Engineer to join their team, with a focus on internal tooling, process optimization, and automation. In this role, you will help identify inefficiencies across their engineering and operational workflows and build the software solutions that eliminate them - from intuitive internal dashboards to automated pipelines that save teams meaningful time. A core focus of this role will be executing and operating their compliance automation systems, including data registry infrastructure and GDPR data subject access and deletion workflows. You'll work closely with teams across Marketing Technology to deliver high-quality software that makes a real impact. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain internal web/native applications and tools that improve team productivity and operational efficiency Identify, analyze, and automate repetitive manual processes across engineering and business workflows Build, maintain, and operate automated pipelines for GDPR data subject access and deletion requests Support and extend internal data registry systems to ensure accurate, up-to-date data cataloging Build and maintain front-end interfaces for internal dashboards and tooling used by a variety of teams Develop back-end services and APIs that power automation workflows and integrate with internal systems Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand pain points, and deliver impactful solutions Communicate clearly on project status, blockers, and trade-offs across technical and non technical stakeholders Write and maintain technical documentation so internal tools are well-understood and sustainable long-term Required Qualifications 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience Proficiency in a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) Strong experience with back-end development using languages such as Python, Node.js, Go, or Java Experience building internal tools, admin interfaces, or workflow automation systems Familiarity with RESTful APIs Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Solid understanding of version control with Git Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and drive projects to completion Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to translate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively across teams Experience with privacy and security best practices, including secure coding standards, data handling and minimization principles, access control and authentication patterns (e.g., OAuth, SSO, RBAC), and familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, or SOC 2 Preferred Qualifications Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) Hands-on experience with workflow and automation tools (e.g., Airflow, custom scripting) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Exposure to monitoring and observability tooling Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for task automation About Aquent Talent Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world's biggest brands.
