In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between our cutting-edge automation solutions and our clients' needs, delivering tailored technical expertise that drives sales success. Your energetic approach will empower you to showcase complex products through engaging demos, provide expert pre-sales support, and collaborate closely with sales teams to unlock new business opportunities. Responsibilities Conduct detailed product demonstrations of machine vision systems and automation solutions to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits effectively. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical proposals that align with their operational goals. Provide pre-sales technical support by answering complex product questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding clients through integration processes. Assist in project management activities, including planning, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Analyze customer systems and workflows to recommend optimal automation configurations that enhance efficiency and productivity. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine vision, cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization technologies like VMware, and scripting languages including Python and Bash (Unix shell). Deliver engaging product demos and technical presentations at trade shows, webinars, or client sites to showcase product capabilities. Requirements Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the machine vision or automation industry. Strong understanding of computer networking principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages (Python, Bash). Familiarity with Linux operating systems for system setup and troubleshooting. Knowledge of project management methodologies to coordinate multiple client engagements effectively. Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and designing tailored automation solutions. Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations. Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Nice-to-have skills include experience with AWS cloud services, VMware virtualization environments, Linux system administration, Azure cloud platform familiarity, as well as expertise in technical sales strategies and project coordination.
