Job Description Day to Day
- Support routers, switches, telecom servers/appliances, and other telecommunications equipment
- Assist with the design, installation, upgrades, changes, and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and telecommunications issues
- Administer telecommunications equipment and applications following established procedures
- Maintain documentation including network diagrams, procedures, inventories, root cause analyses, and reports
- Assist with vendor coordination, comparisons, and cost studies for large-scale systems projects
- Provide support for audits and compliance-related requests
- Track and evaluate new networking technologies and products
- Make recommendations for hardware, software, and service purchases
- Collaborate with IT teams, managers, vendors, and consultants
- Support additional work orders as needed

- 1-2 years of experience with network or telecommunications technology
- Basic working knowledge of networking concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot clearly defined technical issues
- Strong willingness and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work flexible hours or participate in an on-call schedule
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, or CCDP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Exposure to enterprise networking environments or telecom systems
- Experience working with vendors or supporting infrastructure projects
