To apply, click "Apply to Job" online on this web page. Network Production Engineer Responsibilities Build experience with Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure Engineering teams. Build, manage, and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol data center and backbone network. Develop optimized network monitoring systems. Design, and deploy new network architectures. Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events. Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues. Be an active participant in deep technical discussions. Develop and maintain consistency within the network infrastructure. Test new network products and pilot them in production DC networks before a mass rollout. Develop test automation frameworks integrated in CICD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production. Develop tests that qualify complex network migration procedures in labemulation before executing the same in production. Test software features in FBOSS (NOS software) partnering with in-house software development teams. Qualify and push vendor software releases in the fleet. Build and operate DC test lab networks. Participate in DC network on-call rotation. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following Building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques C++ Design for Testing Hardware development and testing experience Linux and Unix Network Routing Protocols Network analysis, debugging and troubleshooting, using tools: Wireshark, Network Simulator, Selenium or Git Network device configuration Python Regression Testing Test and scripting: Tcl, shell, Makefile Networking protocols (TCPIP or HTTP) and Unit testing Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
