Oracle Exadata is an enterprise database platform that runs Oracle AI Database workloads of any scale and criticality with high performance, availability, and security. Exadata's scale-out design employs unique optimizations that let transaction processing, analytics, agentic AI, and mixed workloads run faster and more efficiently. Consolidating diverse Oracle AI Database workloads on Exadata platforms in enterprise data centers, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and multicloud environments helps organizations increase operational efficiency, reduce IT administration, and lower costs. Role:

Design and implement the database and Storage IO data path in Oracle Exadata Database Machine. Design and implement Exadata Storage Server offload features such as Smart Scan, Storage Index, Columnar Cache, etc. that are responsible for extreme performance of the Storage Server. Implement software designed to be fault tolerant in the presence of unanticipated software failures Develop parallel algorithms and distributed systems software that runs on a large-scale database and storage cluster Work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, exciting and rapidly growing environment

Responsibilities Preferred Qualifications:

Degree level (BS/MS/PhD): Bachelors/Masters/PhD Major(s): Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Programming languages: C/C++ expertise, Java, Rust Tools, software, etc.: Development experience on Linux Preferred coursework: Distributed Systems, Algorithms Design, Parallel Programming, Databases Other qualifications: Enthusiasm or strong background to work on large-scale distributed systems. Ability to tackle and debug complex systems problems. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc. Minimum 1 year of professional experience.

Hiring Range in USD from: $99,600 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Paid time off:

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
