Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers. Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python. Experience with network technologies or protocols, including
VXLAN, BGP
EVPN, 802.1x, LACP, encryption, key management, micro-segmentation, or ACLs.
Preferred qualifications:
Expert level certifications or equivalent level experience (e.g., CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE). Experience with working in a multi-vendor environment. Proven experience with large enterprise Office network design and operations in a global environment. Expert in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems. Intermediate to Expert level knowledge with Linux. Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. We're involved in every facet of network delivery from architecture and design to installation, configuration, activation, and commissioning. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities Drive the development of solutions for Google's Enterprise network, executing new features qualification and validation through network development, deployment, operation, and optimization. Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity. Deliver network dependability and network reliability by providing secure and reliable network services to the Google Enterprise Network team's customers. Coordinate and take lead of assigned projects in all technical and communication aspects. Collaborate with peer engineers towards achieving common goals in assigned projects.
