Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the WiFi SME and mentor for a team of 8-10 wireless engineers. Oversee the introduction of code and config changes into the live production network. Review and approve wireless and network designs for performance and compatibility. Lead the rollout strategy and impact evaluation for major network changes. Drive standardization and best practices across the wireless operations lifecycle. Troubleshoot complex issues across Layers 1-7 (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Transport). Maintain network integrity through observability tooling (Grafana, Splunk, Netscout) and rigorous documentation. SKILLS Experience with either Ruckus, Aruba or Cisco APs and controller-based (vendor-agnostic) environments. Should have worked on Carrier/ISP operations and/or high-scale deployments, including IGP/eBGP routing and broadband edge. Proficiency with Linux-based backend systems (AAA servers) and CLI operations. 1 years working with CI/CD pipelines, virtualized controllers, and automation (Ansible or Python). Proven ability to make high-level decisions on network integrity and code releases. Deep OSI model knowledge and packet-flow analysis (DNS, DHCP, IPv6). Familiarity with Load Balancing/GSLB (A10, Anycast).
CERTIFICATIONS
Industry and vendor-specific certifications preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
