Unternehmen Munich Re America Services Anstellungsart Unbefristet Fachbereich Informationstechnologie Job speichern We are seeking an Automation Lead to design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks that ensure adherence to best practices and drive automation initiatives across UI, API, and database testing. This role will focus on integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, optimizing test coverage, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, reusability, and compliance with standards Guide teams in developing a risk-based automation strategy, and ensure automation suites are consistently updated and maintained Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and database testing Maintain and optimize regression test suites for maximum coverage and efficiency Monitor defect trends to assess test coverage and identify gaps Integrate, and support teams in integrating, automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Utilize version control systems to manage automation scripts and frameworks Define and enforce automation standards and processes across teams Leverage AI capabilities to enhance automation strategies when applicable Support and maintain test lab infrastructure
Requirements:
University Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Automation certification demonstrating advanced skills and expertise in automation practices 5-7 years of experience in leading automation efforts, test strategy, and execution Proven experience in automation strategy and framework design Proven experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks. Hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI and API automation. Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript and C# Strong understanding of CI/CD integration and version control systems Hands-on analytical and problem-solving skills Great communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with team across geographies, including strategic vendor partners Experience supporting and leading multiple parallel initiatives\ At Munich Re US, we see Diversity and Inclusion as a solution to the challenges and opportunities all around us.
