storage infrastructure. Maintain an existing 6-host ESXi cluster supporting ~15 Windows Server 2022 virtual machines for a physical security system. Perform firmware upgrades, VMware core OS updates, and storage array updates to maintain system stability and performance. Monitor system performance, availability, and health , including high availability (HA) validation and failover testing . Optimize infrastructure through resource allocation and workload balancing . Manage backup and recovery processes , including designing, testing, and implementing backup solutions. Conduct vulnerability management and remediation activities across the environment. Develop and maintain technical documentation , including system configurations, SOPs, and best practices. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and infrastructure teams to support operational and project initiatives. Support new infrastructure deployments , including Bill of Materials (BOM) development, installation, and configuration of VMware ESXi clusters at enterprise sites.
