2026-2027 Administrator, Systems The School District of Lee County - 3.8 Fort Myers, FL Job Details Full-time $32.38 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Network infrastructure management Full Job Description Qualifications Associates Degree Two (2) years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in information systems, computer engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and training with advanced industry certifications in networking. Four (4) years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure management. Proven experience successfully managing business/department functions and staff. Industry certification. Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy required qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills. Knowledge of pertinent regulations, policies, and procedures for the functional area of assignment. Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention. Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications. Ability to work with and lead diverse groups of people and manage projects and activities to successful completion. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle up to and including large vans or (non-commercial) delivery trucks. Ability to efficiently work independently with minimal direction or direct oversight. Ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a timely and professional manner.

11/15/22 Responsibilities Manage and maintain a 24x7 highly available systems environment. Assist with evaluation of vendor products and recommend purchases consistent with the District's short and long-term objectives. Assist with installation of new servers and equipment in the datacenter. Assist with management of the enterprise storage environment including network attached storage and storage area networks. Perform server operating system (OS) installation, integration, maintenance, and upgrades. Maintain hardware inventory and work with hardware and software vendors for problem determination and resolution. Support information security controls and inquiries for research or investigations. Assist with increasing team effectiveness by identifying and implementing best practices and identifying systems and toolsets that increase functionality, productivity, and compliance. Perform system, network, and input/output (I/O) performance monitoring and analysis. Report on systems operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and working on project teams. Work with external vendors and consultants to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution. Participate in and support custom software releases and enterprise backups. Collaborate to develop and maintain the Districts disaster recovery/business continuity plan. Accomplish the Districts mission by completing related tasks as needed. Maintain the confidentiality of records and District information in accordance with accepted professional ethics and state and federal laws. Complete and maintain industry and manufacturer specific technical certifications related to the position. Utilize common industry and organizational tools for project management, technical support documentation, and communication.
