Full Job Description Overview:
Job Purpose Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and business challenges in the financial sector. ICE team members work across departments and traditional boundaries to innovate and respond to industry demand. A successful candidate will be able to multitask in a dynamic team-based environment demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and the highest degree of professionalism. This role will be part of a team of information technology professionals responsible for monitoring a global network infrastructure including offices and internet data centers. This position requires technical proficiency, an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and support a global log management and monitoring infrastructure Investigate network and application anomalies using logs, alarms, APM solutions, TCP/IP traces, and captures Document changes and author documentation on monitoring standards and practices Design monitoring requirements in coordination with development and operations Implement and support monitoring solutions across multiple datacenters Serve as a point of contact for monitoring across the enterprise Knowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree, preferably in CIS, engineering, or a related discipline Knowledge of Linux, Python, Perl, Java scripting languages Administration experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or another APM solution Certification in Splunk, ELK, or another logs tool Strong data analysis skills and competence in MS Word and Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects Desirable Skills and Experience Experience with Performance tuning Financial industry expertise Change auditing and configuration management #LI-MA1 -: Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
