Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect responsible for high-level network planning, design, and optimization. This role involves developing strategies and direction for network systems solutions, including wireless technologies, and translating business requirements into effective network or process designs.

Responsibilities:

Develop strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies. Translate business requirements into network or process designs. Plan and recommend network hardware, systems management software, and architecture. Approve and modify network design and architecture to ensure compliance. Configure and maintain routers, switches, and hubs for network systems, including wireless. Evaluate and recommend new products while maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies. Monitor network performance and ensure capacity planning is performed proactively. Perform troubleshooting procedures and design resolution scripts. Lead special enterprise-wide projects as a Project Leader. Coach and mentor junior technical staff.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments focusing on network planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software), and optimization. Expertise in defining network architectures and designs for the enterprise. Proven ability to work on multiple projects as a project leader or subject matter expert.
