The opportunity P&G has an opportunity at for a warehouse process engineer in the Southeast Fulfillment Center located in Jackson, GA. This role sits on our Supply Network Operations team and plays a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Operations Process Engineer leads business result improvement efforts via Warehouse Operations work process improvement including the analysis, definition, design, implementation and sustainment of improvement. The responsibilities may cover one work process (e.g. PrIME WFM) or span across multiple Warehouse Operations work processes.Job Responsibilities Project Planning:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with stakeholders, including engineering teams, clients, and management, to gather requirements and provide updates.Resource Allocation:
Manage project resources effectively, ensuring team members are aligned with project goals.Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress, prepare status reports, and present findings to stakeholders regularly. Analyze warehouse operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes. Develop and implement solutions to optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and inventory management strategies. Utilize SQL database queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics. Job Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related quantitative field. Proven experience in data analysis and data management, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL database queries for data extraction and analysis. Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other stakeholders. A growth mindset with a desire to learn and grow within the role. Ability to communicate complex data and findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Preferred Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
