Job DescriptionEngineering Process & Automation Intern (
Location:
Suwanee, Georgia)We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support process improvement and automation initiatives within our Product Safety, Battery Safety, and Hazardous Location engineering teams.

This role will focus on automation of test reports and technical documentation workflows, development of internal engineering efficiency metrics, and implementation of process improvements that enhance quality, consistency, and turnaround time.
Responsibilities:
Analyze existing engineering documentation and test report formatsDevelop automation tools for test data sheets and reportingStandardize engineering templates and technical review structuresAssist in building KPI dashboards for engineering operationsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across safety engineering programsQualifications Sophomore or Junior pursuing Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems EngineeringStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAnalytical and structured problem-solving skillsInterest in process optimization and engineering operationsProgramming knowledge (VBA, Python, Power BI) preferredThis role offers exposure to regulatory engineering standards including UL, IEC, and CSA safety frameworks, and provides hands-on experience in operational excellence within a technical environment. Additional InformationCompensationThe expected salary range for this position is $16.00 ro $21.00 per hour. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
