• , you will: + Learn about and apply knowledge in technologies for manufacturing execution systems, vision systems (part location and inspection), and other automation technology in a production environment + Opportunity to learn about and assist in programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, Fanuc robots and CNC + Assist with continuous improvement factory automation projects that support safety, quality, or efficiency initiatives + Assist with Manufacturing Execution System setup and testing + Assist other factory automation engineers with support in troubleshooting shop floor issues •This position NOT available to students on immigration visas•What Skills You Need•+ Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Data Science; others may apply + Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university + Graduation date of December 2026 or later + Cumulative GPA of 2.

8 or above + Work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year + Work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester + Must be able to commute to the Waterloo, IA work location on a daily basis + Knowledge of databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle) + Strong communication skills both written and verbal + Knowledge of Microsoft Office
