Job Description

We are looking for a technically strong automation professional to help modernize and streamline internal systems and workflows. This individual will play a key role in building, refining, and supporting automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase system reliability across the organization. Success in this role requires solid software fundamentals, comfort working in Linux-based environments, and the ability to translate business processes into scalable automated solutions. Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and IT to evaluate existing workflows and uncover opportunities where automation can add measurable value Develop, enhance, and maintain automation scripts, tooling, and frameworks tailored to evolving business needs Configure and integrate automation technologies and third-party tools to support system and process improvements Validate automation solutions through comprehensive testing to ensure stability, accuracy, and compatibility with existing platforms Monitor and support deployed automation, responding to issues quickly and minimizing service disruption Continuously evaluate new tools, techniques, and approaches to improve current automation practices Align technical automation decisions with broader organizational goals and system architecture Contribute to additional initiatives as business priorities evolve Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing or supporting automation solutions in a production environment Strong working knowledge of Linux-based systems and command-line tools Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting/programming language commonly used for automation Practical experience using shell scripts (Bash) and working with relational databases via SQL or equivalent query languages Familiarity with configuration management, orchestration, or containerization tools (such as Ansible or Docker) is beneficial Exposure to web technologies, Ruby, C++, or systems supporting trading or financial operations is considered a plus
