Role Summary The Systems Engineer I will support the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and improvement of customer and internal systems. This is an entry-level engineering role for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and excited to work at the intersection of industrial systems, data, analytics, and digital transformation. The role will work closely with technical leads, project teams, and customers to support reliable and scalable system implementations. Key Responsibilities Support system design and integration activities across OT and IT environments Assist with installation, configuration, and validation of servers, applications, platform components, and supporting services Monitor system health, alerts, logs, and performance metrics, and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis Help implement configuration baselines, access controls, security hardening, and change management practices Support analytics and dashboard environments, including data pipelines, runtime monitoring, and validation checks Build and maintain scripts and automation, preferably in Python, for deployment support, health checks, and data quality verification Assist with organizing industrial or operational data into usable models, dashboards, and reports Prepare technical documentation including runbooks, standard operating procedures, installation notes, and handover materials Coordinate with senior engineers, project managers, and customers to support timely project delivery Participate in testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities across projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field 0 to 2 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, academic projects, or full-time work Basic understanding of systems engineering, networking, servers, databases, or application support Familiarity with scripting or programming, preferably Python Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Preferred Qualifications Exposure to industrial systems, SCADA, historian platforms, IoT, or data analytics environments Familiarity with cloud platforms, dashboards, or data visualization tools Exposure to
