Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and manage middleware platforms including Kafka,IBM MQ, ESB, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS)Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift (Kubernetes-based platform)Design and maintain messaging and integration solutions for distributed systemsMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability of middleware componentsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to messaging, integration, and application hostingSupport application deployments and release management activitiesEnsure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of middleware systemsImplement security, access control, and compliance policiesCollaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teamsAutomate routine tasks and improve operational efficiencyUsing design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Required Technical and Professional ExperienceStrong experience with Apache Kafka (topics, brokers, partitions, consumer groups)5
  • 7 Years as Lead EngineerHands-on experience with IBM MQ and messaging systemsExperience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administrationKnowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and toolsExperience with OpenShift / Kubernetes container platformsGood understanding of Linux/Unix systemsExperience with monitoring and logging toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with Kafka Streams / Kafka ConnectKnowledge of API gateways and microservices architectureFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
)Scripting skills (Shell, Python)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Understanding of DevOps and automation practicePreferred Technical and Professional ExperienceBachelor's/Master's in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
