Level II Automation Engineer

Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Responsibilities Maintain and develop IDI Ignition (Level II) & SQL servers Maintain and support OT servers & networking infrastructure Develop process automations with the assistance of operations and electrical personnel Provide 24/7 support for production systems Ensure robust data capturing with plant systems/technologies Coordinate technical projects with operations and contractors Design system functions strategically & holistically Work safely and adhere to all safety requirements while performing tasks in the mill Qualifications Required 4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Python, SQL Server Management, Windows Server, UI Design Experience Preferred Ignition, SQL, Network Infrastructure, PLC Experience Initiative-Taking, Diligence, Communication, Problem Solving, Creativity, Methodical, Organized Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
