Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Technical Services Lead to own and evolve our internal tools that we use every day. The goal of this team is to make everyone using these tools more effective and efficient. The primary tool we utilize is ServiceNow platform, but there are other tools we will use, need to integrate too, or build to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and scalability. This team member will own, design and maintain the tools, integrations, and operational systems that surround it. This role is ideal for someone who excels in the technical skills and enjoys collaborating, mentoring, and is used to wearing multiple hats, including being a leader and an individual contributor. Approximately 60% of this role will be focused on the ServiceNow platform in one way or the other. (Development/Administration/Governance) The remaining 40% centered on integrations, automation, and other internal systems tooling. This is both an analytical and builder's role! You will be hands-on while also serving as the senior technical resource and mentor to other team members.
Maintain and improve CMDB and ITOM-related configurations to ensure long-term platform health.
Led efforts related to migrating teams from other tools, and into ServiceNow. Design, build, and support REST-based integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
Develop scripts and lightweight internal tools to support automation and data flow.
Advise stakeholders on architectural decisions, including when to extend ServiceNow versus integrate external solutions.
Mentor and guide others while establishing development standards and best practices.
Drive operational efficiency through thoughtful automation and systems design.
Be the primary point of contact for MIS and IT as it relates to our tool sets.
What You Will Own:
