Sr. Network Support Specialist

Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Network Support Specialist to provide network and infrastructure support for Langley AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. Qualifications 6+ years experience in a network support role. Associate's degree in a related field. Additional work experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ CE certified. Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure (switches, routers). Experience with network implementation and maintenance. Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches. Able to maintain current knowledge and skills through in-services, workshops, and/or seminars. Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
