Weeks Pay Rate:

$55/hr-$68/hr all-in rate (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Seeking a senior Process Automation Consultant to perform a current-state assessment and develop a future-state roadmap following a packaging-related product recall. This consultant will evaluate vision inspection systems, packaging verification processes, controls architecture, data integration, and operational workflows to identify gaps and recommend scalable improvements.

Must Have Skills:

Process Automation or Controls Engineering experience Vision Inspection Systems experience Cognex and/or DataMan camera experience Industrial optics and lighting experience SCADA experience (Ignition preferred) SQL database experience PLC and Modbus integration experience Experience conducting technical assessments and developing strategic roadmaps Nice to

Have Skills:

Food & Beverage manufacturing experience Product serialization or packaging verification experience Markem or Colos experience MES or ERP integration experience Machine vision and AI-based inspection experience

Pay:

$55.00 - $68.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have hands-on experience as a Process Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Automation Consultant? Do you have experience with machine vision or vision inspection systems in a manufacturing environment? Have you worked with Cognex vision systems and/or DataMan cameras? Do you have experience with industrial optics, camera setup, lighting, and image acquisition for inspection applications? Do you have experience developing, configuring, or supporting SCADA systems (Ignition preferred)? Do you have experience working with SQL databases, including querying and data analysis? Do you have hands-on PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integration experience? Have you integrated PLCs with devices using Modbus communication protocols? Have you conducted technical assessments, gap analyses, or current-state evaluations for manufacturing systems?
