- This Network Engineer Level II will be working on innovative network design and operations. This position will support various customers within Health Solutions.

- Position is responsible for providing engineering expertise for complex multi-service networking.
- The network engineer is responsible for engineering, and supporting of the network design, deployment and operations for a large government customer located in Baltimore, Maryland.
This position may require from 25% to 50% travel to various domestic customer locations. Position requires regular on-site work at the customer location and warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deploy, maintain, and support enterprise Wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers (WLCs), and access points (APs).
- Implement and support routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Perform
LAN/WAN/WLAN
installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Conduct wireless site surveys and support AP/controller deployments.
- Prepare and stage network equipment using standard configuration templates.
- Upgrade network devices and software (Cisco
IOS/NX-OS
) to support new features and requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Tier 3 support.
- Monitor network performance, reliability, and availability, recommending improvements w needed.
- Assist with network design, implementation, and evaluation of new technologies.
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate with field technicians and installation teams during deployments.
- Manage network installation and upgrade projects while maintaining deployment schedules.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and communicate project status to management.
- Support after-hours and weekend maintenance activities as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD
- Cisco Certified Network Engineers must possess a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent level of Cisco
- Certification or CCNP with Wireless LAN Specialist or Cisco 300-715 SISE
- Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on network experience configuring routing protocols and switching configuration in
- medium (One Data Center and 600+ locations) to large enterprise (Two Data Centers and 1000+ locations) networks
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be US a CitizenNetVision Resources, Inc.
