Job Description

Secret Network Engineer Mid Insight Global is searching for a Secret Network Engineer Mid to support one of our large federal clients in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Providing network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment or exercise and coordinate swift solutions to networking problems during the execution phase
  • Providing direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units
  • Assisting in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units. Provide direct support to the D-30 process
  • Supporting operational requirements for the operational environment; identify required Hardware (HW) and Software (SW); submit personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtain necessary visas; document the result of the deployment in a Government-provided template with input and conduct a post-deployment review with the Government; coordinate return of any unused and reusable equipment to stock; coordinate the transportation of all HW and SW required to support contingency operations and obtain all import permits.
Experience providing deployed support.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 4+ years of experience within IT with a focus on networking fundamentals
  • SEC +
  • High School Diploma
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
CCST, CCT or CCNA (must obtain within the first 6 months)
Compensation:
$28.50/hr. to $34.55/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
