Position Overview:

Network Technician/Engineer DENPRO is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a hands-on networking professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and supporting diverse environments across multiple locations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bryans Road, MD , with up to 50% travel to client sites nationwide. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points Diagnose and resolve network issues such as outages, connectivity failures, performance degradation, cabling problems, NIC issues, and TCP/IP configuration errors Provide remote and on-site support for client environments, including site-to-site connectivity Perform setup, configuration, upgrades, and routine maintenance of network equipment Manage and support DNS and DHCP services Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures accurately and thoroughly Required Skills Strong hands-on network troubleshooting experience Solid understanding of LAN/WAN environments Experience configuring and tuning network hardware for performance and reliability Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to real-world situations Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, customer-focused demeanor with excellent client interaction skills Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in computer networking Valid driver's license required Willingness to travel up to 50% (company vehicle provided for local travel) High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred CCNA certification strongly preferred Self-starter with strong customer service skills and a passion for continuous learning
