Network Engineer IP & Mobile Systems

Tecore Networks is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT and mobile networking team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in network engineering and/or support, with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IP and mobile networks. This role will contribute to both internal infrastructure and customer-facing mobile deployments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement WAN and LAN architectures for internal and customer deployments Configure and manage Cisco ASA and PIX firewalls; experience with Juniper NS/ISG is a plus Install and support Cisco routers and switches (2900, 3500, 3700, 7200 series) Manage VPNs (SSL, IPSec, PPTP) and implement security measures (IDS, Cisco AIP/ADS, syslog) Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply remediation protocols Oversee SAN configurations and cloud security (AWS, Azure) Utilize monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, OpenNMS, Cacti) for network performance Automate network tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell Collaborate across teams using Agile methodologies to support infrastructure growth Create and maintain network documentation (Visio, ConceptDraw, Diag) Integrate and manage AAA systems (LDAP, Radius), DNS, GPO, NFS, and SSH access Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Citrix) and VoIP solutions (Cisco Call Manager) Perform network diagnostics using Wireshark, TCPdump, and related tools Engage in requirements engineering and customer-facing design discussions Implement best practices in network security, encryption (SSL), and compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 3+ years of experience in network engineering or support Solid understanding of networking protocols:

TCP/IP, UDP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP

Experience with Cisco ISE and identity services management Familiarity with Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments Proficient with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or advanced technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CSSP, RHCE) Minor in Telecommunications Experience with

SQL, LDAP
