$64921 - $97383 per year Description The Desktop Analyst 3 is a designated point of contact for many departmental customers and will provide analysis, support and maintenance of desktop computing environment, applications, hardware and related technologies utilized in these departments. The Desktop Analyst will optimize IT performance, analyze and resolve issues, incidents, and problems in a timely and accurate manner; provide end-user assistance where required; and perform on-site equipment maintenance and repair services as needed. The Desktop Analyst will also be involved in equipment receipt, deployment, and inventory. Desktop Analyst will receive guidance from the Department Executive 5 daily. Required Tasks Support critical activities as required Assist other IT service areas such as server, network, telecommunication and application groups Acquire and develop knowledge on all supported technologies Travel to various locations, as needed. Educational and Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree and two years of experience providing desktop support in an environment with at least 100 users OR Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline from a recognized college or university and four years of experience providing desktop support in an environment with at least 100 users OR Six years of experience providing desktop support in an environment with at least 100 users; AND Licensing and/or Certifications Preferred COMPTIA A+ Current valid driver's license
