Detroit, MI Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer hardware Hardware support Full Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud-based networks while supporting business and application needs. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and experience working with modern networking technologies. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers Monitor network performance, availability, and security Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and outages Implement network security best practices and access controls Support network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning Maintain documentation, diagrams, and network standards Collaborate with systems, cloud, security, and application teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching Experience with enterprise networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba) Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex network issues Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, or network automation Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible, etc.) Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, Network+)
