Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, the Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and securing the organizations network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. This role supports reliable connectivity, network security, and end-user productivity across all LifeWays locations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, and telecommunications systems.

Design and support secure network architectures including VLANs, routing, firewall policies, and remote access solutions.

Manage enterprise networking and security platforms such as Meraki, Palo Alto, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and related technologies.

Monitor network performance, availability, and security; proactively resolve issues and support incident response activities.

Maintain phone systems, mobile devices, telepresence systems, and ISP connectivity.

Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure planning initiatives.

Provide Tier 13 technical support for network and infrastructure-related issues.

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and Help Desk records.

Support compliance with HIPAA and organizational security standards.

Assist with technology planning for building renovations and new construction projects.

Travel between LifeWays locations as needed.
