Job Description

Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in systems administration or IT support roles, or relevant certifications (e.g.

CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA). Understanding of patch management, system security, and access control. Experience with Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Entra. Familiarity with virtualization platforms and Windows/Linux server environments. Familiarity with endpoint management and MDM solutions (Mosyle, Intune). Experience supporting compliance-related processes in regulated environments. Familiarity with networking fundamentals and firewall concepts. Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in K-12 or higher education IT environments. Experience managing Cisco networking infrastructure (Routing, Switching, Call Manager, Unity, Emergency Responder, etc.) Experience supporting large device environments (~2,000+ endpoints). Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix) or automation tools (e.g., Ansible).

OVERVIEW
The Network & Systems Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the district's IT infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of systems including identity services, servers, endpoints, and network resources. The Systems Administrator supports both administrative and instructional technology by maintaining stable operations and responding to technical issues. Identity & Access Management Administer and support identity platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, and Active Directory. Manage user accounts, group memberships, and access permissions. Assist in enforcing security policies and access controls across systems. Server & Virtualization Management Maintain and support virtualized server environments and related infrastructure. Perform routine system monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting. Assist in maintaining system availability and backups for critical services. Patch & Endpoint Management Implement and monitor patching for servers, workstations, and devices. Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (Mosyle, JAMF, Intune) for device configuration and policy enforcement. Support endpoint security and compliance through Group Policy and MDM tools. Data Governance Support data governance practices related to student information systems, cloud platforms, and district data management processes. Assist in maintaining data integrity, access controls, retention procedures, and security standards across systems such as Skyward, PowerSchool, and Google Drive. Monitor and support compliance with district policies and regulatory requirements involving student, staff, and operational data. Support compliance enforcement, audits, and investigations. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain basic automation scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible) to improve efficiency. Assist in automating routine administrative tasks and reporting processes. Security & Compliance Follow and enforce established security policies and procedures. Assist in monitoring systems for security issues and responding to incidents. Collaboration Work with Technology Support staff to resolve escalated technical issues. Provide technical assistance to staff and coordinate with vendors as needed. Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and configurations. Availability Requires flexibility to respond to high-priority operational matters outside normal working hours. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Fifty-two (52) weeks with vacation days, holidays, personal business days and personal illness days as indicated in the employment contract. Salary to be set by the Board of Education.
