As required (local and limited international) As our next IT Network Architect , you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting a secure, scalable network infrastructure that enables Johnson Electric's manufacturing operations. You will serve as a technical leader on-site, collaborating closely with global IT teams to ensure performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance across enterprise and plant-floor systems.

Be part of a global company with diverse teams and the opportunity to work on international projects. What You'll Be Doing Designing and implementing scalable LAN, WAN, and GAN network architectures. Leading and mentoring a team of Network Administrators. Managing core and edge switching, OT networks, and Wi‑Fi access points. Implementing and supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols . Designing and maintaining plant-floor OT network segmentation , including tools such as Xona. Implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender). Collaborating with global network teams to deploy and enforce infrastructure standards. Monitoring performance using tools such as Zabbix and proactively resolving risks. Supporting cybersecurity events and incident remediation. Ensuring compliance with
TISAX, CMMC
, and other security audit requirements. Leading or contributing to IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Maintaining detailed network documentation and operational procedures. Coordinating with external vendors and service providers. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or architecture. 3+ years of experience supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, IP addressing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred. Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environments. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project leadership skills. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, on‑site manufacturing setting.
