Job Description

Position Description:
Overview:
Responsible for assisting with developing, implementing and maintaining information security activities. Also responsible for monitoring policies and procedures related to information access and control; ensure that modern information security measures are in place and that these measures are appropriately implemented, administered, monitored and changed in response to business conditions; investigates and reports all information security violations and coordinates and tests disaster recovery programs.
Responsibilities and Results:
Report monthly to the Board of Directors regarding information security and technical matters Coordinate incident response team including documenting all incidents and maintaining the Incident Report policy and report to the IT Committee Coordinate with ISO the completion of annual GLBA report to the Board Assist with maintaining information on security breaches and completes associated reports to regulatory bodies as required. Participate in Bank cybersecurity assessment Perform annual training to entire Bank team on their role in disaster recover/business continuity Coordinate and assist ISO with business continuity planning process for all departments Keeps the network computing systems operating efficiently and ensure that computing standards are implemented and enforced Troubleshoots and resolves system problems and assists with project-management research, implementation and system-administrative duties Provides escalated IT support Coordinate and be point of contact for IT audits Responsible for the administration of network server hardware and operation systems and communication links Makes recommendations for changes and upgrades to the network On call for computer down time and other IS related problems/upgrades Review of regular reports, perform any necessary system checks and monitors consoles Responds to inquiries from various users on system problems or information needs by making minor adjustments or timely repairs Monitors network utilization and security systems Ensures that operating systems, hardware and software systems are updated to meet organizational needs Additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
Work Experience:
5+ years experience in information technology and/or information security Experience in the banking industry preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills and a strong desire to succeed Ability to manage and lead employees Time management and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a team player Experienced with office machines, such as computer, phone systems, copiers, etc. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Ability to effectively communicate via phone and e-mail Uses discretion and good judgement, shows patience with others
Other Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to keep all sensitive information confidential Job includes talking, hearing and repetitive motions Ability to express and exchange ideas with customers and employees by means of the spoken word, either in person or on the phone Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication Visual ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer screen and reading procedures Willingness to assume new responsibilities, ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment is expected The ability to identify, assist with and resolve routine problems is expected Working hours may vary Will be required to travel to other branches frequently On time attendance is expected
Working Conditions:
Generally good with some exposure to noise, heat, dust or other adverse factors Climbing of stairs and some lifting of heavy items A high amount of pressure to work efficiently, accurately and maintain good employee and customer relations Considerable effort and eye strain from computer work and continued checking of all detail work in the department
