Applications Administrator - AI AutomationApply OnlineWe are looking for an Applications Administrator to be responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and configuration of Tyler Technologies' shared enterprise applications. This role ensures the availability, reliability, performance, and security of these systems by working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing user access, implementing upgrades and patches, and supporting configuration changes across test, disaster recovery, and production environments. The role also supports monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts to maintain consistent and stable application performance. In addition, the Applications Administrator assists with the evaluation, integration, and administration of new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to support productivity and process improvement. This includes helping identify opportunities to use tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar platforms, and supporting their implementation in practical, well-governed ways. The role is expected to stay current with relevant technologies and contribute to ongoing improvements in enterprise applications. LocationPlano, Texas | Lakewood, Colorado | Yarmouth, Maine | Troy, Michigan | Lubbock, Texas | Herndon, Virginia | Falmouth, Maine | Lawrenceville, GeorgiaResponsibilities Provide day-to-day support for assigned enterprise applications, ensuring system availability, performance, and overall health through effective configuration and access managementAssist in the planning and execution of application upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and routine maintenance across all environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve application incidents, service requests, and technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, minimizing impact to business operationsWork closely with Infrastructure, Networking, Identity, and Security teams to ensure applications align with enterprise standards and operational requirementsSupport the implementation and ongoing use of monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify and address performance or security concernsMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and standard operating proceduresApply and support governance, security, and compliance configurations, including retention and access controls, in alignment with organizational policiesDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational visibility, stakeholder needs, and application usage insightsAssist with application integrations across platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and other enterprise systems using standard tools and methodsSupport the evaluation and implementation of new features and technologies, including AI and automation capabilities, to improve efficiency and functionality AI-Focused Responsibilities Assist in evaluating and testing AI-enabled features and tools to support enterprise applications and improve user productivitySupport the configuration, administration, and governance of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and related platformsWork with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and automation, helping translate needs into practical use casesAssist with integrating AI capabilities into existing applications, workflows, and enterprise systems using standard tools and methodsFollow and support established standards, guidelines, and best practices for the use of AI within the organizationQualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience3+ years of experience in application support, systems administration, or a related IT roleRelevant certifications in enterprise platforms or technologies are a plusExperience supporting applications within Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with or interest in AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platformsExperience supporting or building workflows, automation, or process improvements within enterprise applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causesAbility to learn and apply new tools and technologies, including AI and automation, in a practical wayStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical teams and business stakeholdersAbility to work independently and remain effective in a fast-paced, operational environmentDemonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn and improve supported systems and processesAdditional skills may be required based on the applications and technologies supportedState-Specific Salary Range Disclosure RequirementsSalary will generally fall between $62,879 - $100,000 before adjustment for geographic differences.
