Job Description

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar degree preferred, Associate required
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years demonstrated IT system administration experience in a complex health system environment. Minimum of 3 years' recent experience working with information technology data center solutions such as Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, and Cisco networking solutions Minimum of 2 years' recent experience working with information technology data center solutions such as storage area network (SAN), backup storage solutions, and fiber channel switching preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience with configuring and deploying various IT devices and software, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, MS Office, MS Windows 10 and utilization of automated deployment tools Minimum 2 years' experience supporting a complex security environment including dual-factor authentication, network-based security monitoring, next-generation antivirus Minimum of 1 year experience working on networking projects, including identification of IT network layout, prioritization and mitigation, working with advanced network protocols and SIEM technologies Working knowledge of technology infrastructure, Cisco phone architecture, and application structures Must be detailed oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work in a team environment or independently as required Ability to comprehend complex written materials and verbal instructions
Desired Qualifications:
4 years of data center architecture management experience Ability to engage with Senior Management, Clinicians, and other professionals Experience working within the healthcare industry Experience working with regulatory agencies including OIG and CMS Experience in Project Management Experience performing security reviews and risk assessments Conducting IT compliance assessments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, etc.: 2 years required) Administering IT network \ security controls: (2 years required)
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to work efficiently with others and deal with various situations in a professional, competent, courteous manner. Must be able to deal with multiple deadlines and mental stress. Demonstrates a capacity to reason and solve problems in a manner that is applicable to the execution of job duties.
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
Tier I-III support for Service Desk tickets related to network \ data center issues and updates. Administration of Cisco network equipment, VMware virtual environment, and configuration to ensure compliance across all company sites Supporting the company's network environment including firewalls, switches, wireless, routers, phone systems, UCC, etc. Supporting the company's data center environment, including virtual servers, physical servers, SANs, etc. Participate in project teams to deliver solutions by installing and configuring network equipment / solutions to meet requirements Working with infrastructure / application teams and business representatives to address issues Configure and monitor alerts related to network equipment / performance and address issues Developing documentation to support network policies and administration Participate in root cause analysis of problems and implementing solutions Participating in technical discussions with vendors and consultants Working with primary co-managed WAN partner on network-related support and projects Working with Cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with company standards and research network aspects of any attacks
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Equivalent experience, education and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of Bachelors. 2+ years' experience with a degree 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree Cisco or vSphere certifications or equivalent experience Experience supporting complex multi-site and/or multi-domain environments Knowledge of hybrid on-premise, colo and cloud environments Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere Knowledge of industry compliance standards Attention to detail (organizing accurate information) Effective planning, prioritizing, goal-setting skills with the ability to coordinate projects with internal and external resources. Systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills An annual influenza vaccine required.
Work Conditions:
Up to 10% travel Some after-hours support requirements Potential for alternative work schedule

Effectively performs assigned responsibilities, and delivers consistent results on time and according to expectations Manages and monitors assigned tasks on an ongoing basis Research technical issues and solutions related to hospitals cybersecurity needs. Escalate issues appropriately with internal and external stakeholders when necessary Demonstrate the ability to successfully interact with individuals at all levels of the organization with a high degree of integrity and effectively drive an agenda. Demonstrate the ability to develop and re-engineer workflows and processes, leveraging the capabilities of electronic systems to promote increased cybersecurity processes. Demonstrate an attitude of excellence and professionalism. Provide appropriate assistance to patients, families and guests. Maintains a professional image at all times. Maintain a high level of technical competency related to the field of healthcare information systems as it pertains to hospitals for assigned projects. Pursue professional growth and development through continuing education relating to healthcare information technology and cybersecurity.
