The purpose of the Database Engineer role is to enable successful vendor onboarding by supporting tax platform testing through data extraction, comparison, reconciliation, and scripting, as well as by designing and building targeted in‑house automation solutions to streamline tax data processes and controls. Develop, execute, and maintain queries and other data testing scripts for vendor platform validation Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating data outputs Perform complex data reconciliations across internal systems, vendor platforms, and downstream consumers Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets used for tax reporting and cost basis Partner with business and technology teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies Assist with the design and development of in‑house automation solutions supporting tax operations
Qualifications :
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
