Job Description

Network Engineer Key Responsibilities Network Design Plan and design scalable enterprise network architectures for branch, campus, and data-center environments. Network Implementation Deploy and configure routing, switching, firewall, and WAN connectivity for new and existing locations. Network Operations & Management Monitor network performance, availability, and health across a large, geographically distributed environment. WAN & Connectivity Maintain site-to-site connectivity using
SD-WAN, VPN
technologies, and multiple internet transport types. Troubleshooting & Incident Response Diagnose and resolve complex network issues impacting applications, users, and business operations. Security & Segmentation Implement network security controls, traffic segmentation, and access policies to protect enterprise systems. Documentation & Standards Maintain network diagrams, IP addressing plans, and operational standards. Skills & Knowledge Networking Fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and network segmentation. WAN & Routing Technologies SD-WAN concepts, dynamic routing protocols (such as BGP), and multi-carrier connectivity. Network Devices Enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Network Security Firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, traffic inspection, and access controls. Troubleshooting Tools & Methods Packet analysis, ping, traceroute, flow logs, and CLI-based diagnostics. Operational Skills Change management, outage response, vendor coordination, and root-cause analysis. Role Expectations Supports hundreds of locations and mission-critical business systems Operates as a hands-on engineer Acts as an escalation point during outages and major incidents Owns issues from identification through resolution
