ABOUT US
Victra is Verizon's largest premium retailer in the United States. We thrive on collaboration, innovation, and performance. Our mission is to "Connect technology to life in a trustworthy, fun, and profitable way." We work closely with Verizon and our brand partners to deliver exceptional product offerings, promotions, and campaigns that drive in-store traffic and revenue.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Intelligent Automation Lead II is the technical edge of Victra's automation delivery function. This role goes deeper than Level I — owning complex agent development, API integrations, and pro-code solutions that go beyond low-code platforms. They partner closely with Level I on shared initiatives but take point on anything requiring real technical depth, structured pilot evaluation, or agentic frameworks. Equally comfortable in a stakeholder meeting and a Python environment. This role co-owns the automation mandate and SaaS consolidation work, manual processes, building the solutions, and proving the savings.
Level:
Mid-Level (3-5 yrs) |
Type:
Individual Contributor | Reports to: Director, AI & Product Management
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Design and build automation solutions using pro and low code across platforms including Python, agent SDKs, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio. Build agentic workflows using starter-level frameworks (Foundry, Vertex, or equivalent), multi-step processes that go beyond single-prompt interactions. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-dependent software implementations, from use case scoping and hypothesis definition through pilot evaluation, ROI tracking, operationalization, and business owner handoff; ensure every platform investment is fully utilized before it's considered done. Design and run structured pilots with defined success criteria, A/B testing frameworks, and go/no-go recommendations, in partnership with Finance. Lead technical assessments of processes to identify and build automation candidates, document savings, and ongoing monitoring requirements. Identify SaaS overlap and redundancy across the organization and build the technical case for consolidation. Assess build vs. buy decisions with working POCs as the output, not just analysis. Hand off production-ready solutions to engineering with clear documentation, acceptance criteria, and scaling requirements Partner with Level I on shared initiatives, owning the technically complex and pro-code layers while Level I leads low code builds and rapid prototyping. Enforce governance standards before anything goes live; maintain the shared automation capabilities inventory. Enable business and technical teams through demos, walkthroughs, and knowledge sharing.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
3-5 years of experience in automation, technical product, or an innovation-adjacent role with a history of firsthand building. Ability to write Python or similar to solve real business problems and build working prototypes, not just evaluating tools theoretically. Familiarity with agent frameworks, LLM tooling, and automation SDKs; comfortable with concepts like tool-calling, orchestration, and multi-step workflows Structured thinker who can design a pilot with clear success criteria, run an A/B test, and document findings objectively in partnership with Finance. Comfortable communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, in writing and in demos. Intellectually curious with a strong bias toward building and testing over theorizing. Experience with both low-code/no-code platforms and pro-code approaches, moves between them based on what the problem needs. Prior experience in retail tech, contact center operations, or enterprise SaaS evaluation is a plus.
WHY JOIN US?
Competitive Pay Flexible Time Off Options Paid training and career development opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Employee discounts on Verizon services Referral bonuses and exciting contests Career pathing opportunities
