Job Description

Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5)#26-21095 Up to $32.14 per hour Durham, NC Onsite Job Description Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5) for their Durham, NC location.
Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols and switch configurations. Optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies. Ensure network security by applying best practices and performing regular audits. Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades. Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents. Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patch management.
Requirements:
Routing Switching Service Now Knowledge of basic ServiceNow ticketing tools.
