Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Network Engineer - SME to support this mission atPope Air Field, NC Responsibilities:
As a Network Engineer - SME, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order.Your responsibilities include:
Provides leadership for network engineering support functions across the Task Order, establishing overarching goals and strategic plans for optimizing the C2ISR Transport Infrastructure systems. Leads activities to transition to modernize engineering practices, digital engineering frameworks, and emerging mission systems technologies Directs and controls the strategic design, development, and implementation of comprehensive technical analysis and optimization strategies for complex, mission-critical C2ISR Transport Infrastructure. Possesses expert domain and technical knowledge in advanced network engineering and C2ISR systems, applying this to define and drive the technical roadmap for maintaining a robust and resilient communication infrastructure across all operational domains. Has overall responsibility for establishing and implementing innovative approaches that ensure continuous network reliability and mission-effective technological capabilities for the entire C2ISR enterprise. Provides training on integrated C2ISR workflows, data flows, and cross-platform dependencies Engages in high-level client negotiations and interfaces with senior management regarding the strategic vision, capabilities, and resource allocation for advanced network engineering solutions. Utilizes expert domain knowledge and decision-making that has a critical impact on the overall project implementation, ensuring advanced network engineering solutions address emerging communication challenges and mission requirements. Directs and controls the methods and staffing for network engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-impact, scalable, and resilient network solutions that optimize C2ISR performance. Provides authoritative guidance on the maintenance and modernization of C5ISRT systems under the JEXC2 portfolio, including allAFSOC SATCOM
capable assets, ground-based gateways, and associated transport infrastructure. Establishes and governs the architectural principles, tools, and platforms for all network engineering efforts, critically impacting the reliability, resilience, and operational effectiveness of C2ISR communications. Shapes the future direction of C2ISR network engineering for the TO by pioneering new communication technologies, research, and advanced optimization techniques, directly impacting mission success and national security.QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications: Previous experience as a Network Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level Minimum of 12 years' experience Experience managing teams A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level US citizenship is requiredDOD 8140

Target Salary Range:
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.Benefits Statement:
