Job Description

Job Description Position Summary Plans and leads on-site network engineering efforts for critical C2ISR infrastructure, ensuring direct technical expertise and immediate mission-critical capabilities. Functions as a technical expert in identifying and evaluating optimal technical, architectural, and systematic paths for C2ISR network integration activities. Requires TS/SCI clearance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plans and leads on-site network engineering efforts for critical C2ISR infrastructure, ensuring direct technical expertise and immediate mission-critical capabilities. Drives the strategic development of on-site network engineering strategies and procedures for implementing advanced technological solutions across diverse mission environments. Functions as a technical expert in identifying and evaluating optimal technical, architectural, and systematic paths for C2ISR network integration activities, planned expansions, and site activations. Oversees the design, deployment, and verification of complex C2ISR network components at various on-site locations, including classified and cloud-connected environments. Provides expert guidance to FSRs, project managers, and operational personnel on complex network issues, integration challenges, and technical support best practices. Leads the management and sustainment of secure enterprise cross domains at AISR data dissemination hubs, ensuring seamless and secure data flow. Mentors and supervises journeyman and junior Network Engineers, fostering skill development and ensuring consistency in solution quality and adherence to best practices. Conducts advanced architectural analysis and design validation, ensuring that on-site network implementations align with overall system objectives and performance requirements. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of on-site network engineering solutions, identifying trends, and recommending major changes to enhance resilience and optimize C2ISR capabilities. Directs and oversees dedicated touch labor support for AISR data dissemination hubs and tactical relays for all network-related tasks. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Active TS/SCI security clearance required Senior level experience in network engineering Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for
ADP-III/IT-III
based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
