Job Description An employer in the Greensboro, NC area is seeking a Power Controls and Information Systems Engineer to support the manufacturing operations of a large consumer product company. This plant is installing new start-up lines in their Liquids and Solids Packing departments. They will be responsible for the installation and integration of the controls and automation equipment including case packers, case erectors, fillers, conveyors, text wrap bundlers, etc. This PC&IS Engineer will debug coding issues, troubleshoot the equipment, and drive corrective action to implement the new lines. - 8+ years' experience working in PC&IS environment (ControlLogix PLC's, Rockwell software, Studio5000 or FactoryTalk)
- Hardware and software controls integration and upgrade (hands on experience)
- Experience hands-on machine troubleshooting in a manufacturing site
- Proven expertise with sensors, motors, PLC's, and industrial automation
- Robotics, Machine Vision, and/or Networking skills
- Previous experience at P&G
