  • Apply Now Apply Now Save Job Job Saved Job Description Position Summary Design, implement, and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure using technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
Strong proficiency in App Layering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and translate them into VDI solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot VDI performance, addressing issues related to latency, resource utilization, and user experience. Implement security best practices for VDI environments, including access controls, encryption, storage and patch management. Develop and maintain documentation for VDI architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes. Train and mentor peers to assist the organization in maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the Virtual Desktop environment. Respond to incidents regarding the VDI Infrastructure and Images. Share rotational on-call for P1/P2 incidents. Minimum Requirements High School Degree or equivalent (or higher); Bachelor's degree is preferred At least one intermediate relevant certification required, or obtained within one year of start date. Proven 5+ Years experience in designing, deploying, and managing VDI solutions. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, IGel, Citrix, or Microsoft). Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and networking concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. 3+ years of
