Job Description

Role Summary This is a hands-on engineering position focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network security solutions in fast-paced organizational environments. The role requires operational ownership, technical expertise, and strong delivery capabilities to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure. The candidate will collaborate across teams to integrate security measures and optimize network performance while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and support enterprise network security solutions including NAC, firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxy technologies, secure remote access, and segmentation platforms. Engineer and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructure aligned with enterprise security standards and operational policies. Configure and implement network security appliances across production environments, ensuring optimal security posture. Support large-scale infrastructure deployments, including testing, validation, and operational readiness activities. Drive automation initiatives utilizing Python, Ansible, GitLab, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams to deliver integrated network solutions. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical infrastructure issues. Ensure compliance with change management, security, and operational governance processes. Develop documentation, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, resiliency, scalability, and automation maturity continuously. Qualifications Proven experience supporting enterprise network security and infrastructure environments. Hands-on experience designing and deploying complex data networks. Knowledge of enterprise routing and switching protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. Experience with security platforms including Bluecoat/Symantec Proxy, Zscaler, Fortinet, Forescout, or NetScaler. Strong automation skills with Python, Ansible, and GitLab. Familiarity with operating within structured production environments with a focus on stability, change control, security, and compliance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technical environment with attention to operational excellence. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience participating in incident response. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Availability to work on-site in a dynamic organization environment. Publishing Pay Range:
$63.15 - $65.61 hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
