Telecom Expense Analyst work_outline Contractor place Morristown, New Jersey calendar_today 06 Apr 2026 Apply now Practices Telecommunications Contract Type Contractor Job Number 1624164 Remote jobs No Sub Practices Consulting Akkodis is seeking a Telecom Expense Analyst for a Contract with a client in Morristown, NJ. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships and oversee billing lifecycle processes to drive efficiency and reduce overall communications spend .
Rate Range:
$35/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Telecom Expense Analyst job responsibilities include: Manage and streamline multiple telecom inventory and billing platforms into a unified, accurate cost structure for the enterprise. Oversee vendor relationships, SLAs, and third‑party telecom service performance to ensure timely issue resolution and cost optimization. Lead and develop the telecom team responsible for transforming billing processes and supporting new TEM platform integrations. Conduct audits, validate billing accuracy, and ensure compliance with contracts, charge‑back models, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and field teams to support technology deployment, service ordering/disconnecting, and lifecycle billing processes. Forecast monthly and quarterly telecom run rates, providing clear metrics and reporting to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical implementation, telecom operations, and managing large projects or teams. Strong expertise in telecom inventory/billing platforms, TEM systems, and telecom circuit management (DIA, Broadband, MPLS, etc.). Pay Details:
