A services organization on Long Island is seeking a new Operations Engineer to join their team at their Nassau County location, focusing on core IT operations.  About the
Opportunity:
Schedule:
Full-time Hours:
40 hours/week
Setting:
Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain systems and databases Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues Support production, development, staging, and test environments Respond to security incidents and enforce system policies Provide L3 support to Service Desk and Field teams Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with Azure and VMware Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency Strong PowerShell scripting Excellent communication skills Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Desired Qualifications:
Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Red Hat, and/or VMware Experience with ITIL frameworks
