Network Engineer III

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a mission‑critical government environment in Kings Point, NY. This onsite role requires hands‑on expertise designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise‑level network infrastructure in a structured and regulated setting.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a secure customer‑facing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, DMZ, and wireless networksProvide Level 2 and Level 3 network and systems supportConfigure, test, and maintain Cisco switches and routersDesign, plan, and optimize enterprise wireless networksSupport Aruba wireless and Network Access Control (NAC) architectureConfigure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network access security toolsSupport Nutanix Prism and Acropolis HypervisorAdminister Active Directory and Group Policy in Windows Server and Windows 11 environmentsDevelop and implement PowerShell scripts for automationCreate and maintain detailed technical documentationEnsure compliance with NIST and FISMA standardsCollaborate cross‑functionally to improve stability, performance, and security
