Network Engineer Location:
New York - Financial District Hybrid 3/2 Direct Hire $110k - $135k + Performance Discretionary Bonus + Benefits Wea relooking for a Network Engineer with technical experience in Cisco and Juniper technologies, to help in network projects, and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of our network systems. This role also includes network incident response and proactive improvement of our infrastructure. Required Skills 3+ years in enterprise network engineering, administration, or network operations roles. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (IOS, NX-OS) and Juniper (Junos OS) technologies. Expertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP), MPLS, VLANs, VPN (IPSec, SSL), DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Splunk, DataDog, etc.), configuration management, and logging platforms. Ability to lead network incident response, troubleshoot Layer 2/3 issues, and document RCA (Root Cause Analysis). Certifications (Plus) CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications preferred.
Zero Trust Network Security:
Experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust platforms (e.g., Zscaler ZPA/ZIA, Zero Trust Network Access, identity-based segmentation, continuous authentication). - MUST
