Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, build, and operate highly reliable enterprise connectivity services supporting mission-critical platforms. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across global environments, while contributing to modernization efforts and ensuring high availability in a regulated setting. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions including WAN, MAN, MPLS, VPN, and voice connectivity Provide technical leadership across the solution lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and operational support Analyze network performance, capacity, and traffic trends and implement proactive improvements Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure solutions meet performance and security requirements Lead technical discussions on routing, traffic optimization, monitoring, and observability Develop and maintain documentation including standards, runbooks, diagrams, and operational procedures Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across engineering teams Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency Ensure compliance with internal controls, security standards, and regulatory requirements Participate in modernization initiatives and strategic network projects Support coax-based networks and QAM systems where applicable Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 8+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments Hands-on experience with Cisco (ISR, ASR, Catalyst) and Juniper WAN platforms Proficiency in Cisco IOS / IOS-XE and JunOS Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and enterprise routing concepts Experience with network design, performance engineering, and troubleshooting Knowledge of network security principles and collaboration with security teams Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services environments Relevant Cisco or Juniper certifications
